Jay does it again!

The nation’s favourite Quizmaster breaks a second world record! On the evening of Tuesday 17 th November at 8pm, Jay Flynn started what would soon become the most difficult thing he’s ever done! In cahoots with Guinness World Records, he had created a schedule for 49 hours worth of quizzing to break the world record for the World’s Longest Streamed Quiz. The quiz started with a bang, with over 4,000 sticking with Jay to cheer him on for the first few rounds. As he hit the twilight hours, there was still over 400 people tuning in and chatting away to Jay in the live chat (which he claims kept him going throughout the attempt with all the community’s witty banter). Many new in jokes were born throughout the stream with Candle Cam and Chicago Sheep, and as Jay entered the early hours of Thursday morning, he smashed the existing record of 33 hours. But he didn’t stop there! Jay wanted a clear lead on the record, but as he reached the 35 hour mark, to ensure he kept his health tip top and could complete the usual Thursday Evening Quiz, he retired setting a new world record of 35 hours and 44 minutes! The response to this was insane and Jay stated he has found friends for life in those that kept him entertained using the YouTube live chat. On behalf of Jay, Alex and Bek, thank you to everyone who supported this mega challenge and here’s to you! So come on Jay, what’s the 3 rd ?
